Course Description
A dynamic hands-on manual course designed for osteopathic manual practitioners who want to learn the mobilization of the cranial nerves.
These techniques are useful for treating conditions such as concussion, Bell’s Palsy, TMJ, visual dysfunction, loss of smell, Burning Mouth Syndrome, Occipital Neuritis, Trigeminal Neuritis, Tinnitus, and ear, nose, and throat pathology.
Nerves must be free and mobile to function properly. Injuries, surgeries, infections, and dental work can affect the mobility of the cranial nerves and result in neural pathology. Adhesions, foramen restrictions, and cranial pathology must be addressed to stimulate and mobilize the cranial nerves.
The participants will be able to:
-
Learn manual techniques for the treatment of the pathology of the cranial nerves
-
Advance their knowledge of the anatomy of the cranial nerves and their pathways
-
Practice manual techniques to regain the mobility of the cranial nerves through manual stimulation, stretching, and mobilizing the nerves
